We stayed at this hotel for one night on our honeymoon after another hotel in Paris was a disappointment. We were so pleased with the kind and helpful staff. Our room was clean and newly updated, and we had a large balcony overlooking the city. This hotel would definitely be our first choice upon returning to Paris!

I stayed at this hotel from 1 November to 7 November 2006. First of all, you couldn't find a better location, especially in comparison to the price. The hotel is very easy to reach by RER. The train from Charles de Gaulle airport goes almost directly to St. Michel station, which is five minutes on foot from the hotel. From the hotel, you can walk to Notre Dame, St. Germain des Prés, rue Mouffetard, the Seine , Ile de la Cité, La Samaritaine, the Louvre (a bit of a longer walk) and rue de la Huchette. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and well organized with maps of the district, advice on excursions and a list of recommended restaurants. The breakfast at eight euros was the same price whether it was taken in the breakfast room or in our own room. Moreover, the breakfast was very good (croissants, pain au chocolat, ham, cheese, jam) but the best was the big coffee pot with hot milk. Of course, there are places in the area where breakfast is a bit less expensive at 6.90 euros, but I need a lot of coffee in the morning and around here a cup of coffee costs four euros. Thus, breakfast at eight euros is a bargain. The rooms are fairly large for Paris , very clean and comfortable and decorated in a charming Spartan style. The cleaning staff doesn't begin work until around noon, so there isn't much noise in the mornings. As a woman travelling alone, I always feel secure in this hotel and the district is also very safe. SlS So long as the prices don't soar, I'll always stay at this hotel when I come to Paris .

My grandfather stayed at this hotel and loved it. The same for my parents. It was super then, and it's even better now. For example, there is high speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, there are ceiling fans and it's very clean. There are also renovated bathrooms in each room. Now Now I live in Paris , near this hotel, and I know the owner (it so happened that he was one of our neighbours for a while). He's a great guy who really takes care of his customers so they enjoy their stay at the hotel. We sent our friends there when they came to Paris . I'm not sure if you can put a link into these reviews (if not, please let me know because I don't want to break the rules). But this hotel is worth a look.

An excellent location, a super hotel with super service. We travelled with three teens and had two rooms reserved by Mr. Sadr since the beginning of April. The reviews of this hotel attracted us, and honestly we weren't disappointed. The rooms were spotless and well laid out - yes, they are small but who stays in the room with all the attractions of Paris . There are restaurants everywhere - even McDonalds down the street for the children. As for the hotel, it's close to everything on foot. It's easy to find when exiting the RER on arrival thanks to the directions on the website, and the rooms were immediately available at nine in the morning - which we especially appreciated after a 26 hour flight from Oz. Bravo - we loved our stay here and we'll be back!
